The Ellington Cemetery dates back to the mid 1700s and is located in the center of town. Two driveways enter the cemetery from Maple Street opposite the town green. The cemetery covers approx. 18.5 acres and currently has 4,500 burials. Both Full Burial and Cremation plots are available.



The property is owned by the Ellington Cemetery Association, a non-profit organization incorporated in 1910. It is a perpetual care cemetery where monies are set aside from each lot purchase and invested to provide income to continually care for the cemetery.
