Rules & Regulations
Our goal is to keep the Ellington Cemetery a safe and peaceful place for reflection, meditation and walking.
In order to preserve the safety and serenity of our cemetery, there are certain regulations that must be adhered to.
The non-permitted items have caused safety hazards to both the maintenance personnel and those visiting the cemetery. These items also add to the cost of maintaining the cemetery and do not meet our goal of keeping the Ellington Cemetery a peaceful resting place for reflection, meditation and walking.

Additional items permitted are mulch; ceramic, stone or wooden planters; low stone, concrete or wooden borders; and medallions with a United States or public service flag placed as close to the stone as possible.
